Amidst so much enthusiasm I started my journey to Kurukshetra at 9:00 a.m. on 29th November 2019 and as per the previous schedule I reached at RGTPP, khedar, Hisar where now- a- days my friend Mr Amod Jindal is posted as S E.
it was in my visit list since I passed my bachelor degree in electrical engineering to visit a thermal plant and this desire has been fulfilled after 30 years of passing out with the help of Amod Jindal. He took me to every processing places of the thermal plant and side by side explained every step of generation of electricity. I was impressed to see specially the inner side of the cooling tower, the furnace section and the reclaimer and staker sites.It took arond 4 hour to see the complete plant. The lush green area in the plant is very emphatic.
Though at the same time it was painful to hear that 17000 tons of coal is brunt daily here and a lot of water is lost in the process of generation.
Anyway it was a dream fulfilled after a long 30 years waiting for which whole credit goes to Amod. I am thankful to Amod for arranging my visit to RGTPP.
At around 5 :00pm I left the RGTPP and reached kurukshetra around 7:pm at Guest House where room No. 104 was found alloted to me. In the evening had a chit-chat with mumbaikars and Prof. Chandana.
It was a memorable moment to listen Prof Chandana's theory of success that " attitude matters , not the Edutute" that very evening in an open- heart discussion.
On 30th Nov all the GT participants could assemble around 1:00 pm and it was amazing to see activities at the college time pic galary of batchmates at guest house.
The chit-chat session was organised with latest pic and family pics displayed on screen behind the participant. The session went on the expected lines some boasted and others simply posted.
Then it was the visit to Braham Sarovar where International Gita festival was in progress.The Mahadev Mandir mesmerized me in the full lighting of night creating same temple pic in water below it and the road painting art was another attraction for me. Due to long attention on road paiting art work i missed the college bus which brought us to site. Therefore I hired an auto to come back to guest house.The only thing found unchanged was the low hire rate of auto at kurukshetra. It charged only thirty rupees even at 8 pm's prime time.
Evening arrangements at hotel were very well organised this time with discotheque and bar section. Everybody used his/her full skills to dance, drink and eat.I was also dragged in the dance arena by anil, navneet, kharit and alok. It was perhaps my good deeds of the previous births that saved me from taking them to bar section. God is really great. Around 2:00am of 1st Dec 2019 ,those who were staying at guest house reached back to guest house by college bus.
Around 9:30 am on 1st Dec we had breakfast at hostel No.-4 . Tasted and cherished the old days memories of eating "chola-bhatura, aloo paratha-butter and fruit cream(my all time favourite dessert). But one thing was painfull that now all hostels have been turned into iron chained boxes by fencings and entry gate walls. There is hardly open space left in the whole RECK campus. There is all over big flats of new hostels, markets, senate hall and many other constructions with difficult names and all the reck campus feelings has now become the tale of past. Only the old civil, mechanical , electrical and admn blocks are same, where some what you can feel reck.
Then at OAT had a group pic and OAT area seemed very relaxing one and there all had a group photograph.
memorable stories for me :-
1- While coming back from OAT I saw KP, Bhuvnesh and Archana ready to drive to Guest House . Actually I was very happy to see KP owning an Audi Car but i didn't know that Audi has only two persons seat on rear seat so I asked KP in my rustic style to take me and my daughter to Guest House in his Audi. It was for sake of charm of enjoying an Audi ride. Listening this KP went into silence but then he said I will go on foot and bhuvnesh can take the car to GH but the next moment he said we will give lift to your daughter and you may come on foot. But I denied it. Seeing the two persons with Jattitude a wise Bhuvnesh created a way by adjusting himself , his wife and my daughter on the rear seat of two. This was very touching story of this visit. Bhuvnesh is not only a top class bureaucrat but also a good person from depth of heart . I am scared of his wit and english also while writing this as " angrezi me mera haath tight ha".
2- To drag me into dance by Anil negi, navneet, kharit and alok. Alok went far beyond them and kissed me.
3- It is said from centuries that women are emotionally weak but I found this myth broken during chit-chat when Mr Anil Bagga was unable to express his feelings of tough times but Mrs. Bagga beautiful did it by saying that " I am proud that I have such a large family behind me in the form of RECK84".
4- I had never interacted with Supriya during reck days and never after that also. Though we were in same tutorial class also. Anyway this time I had. I asked her in my rustic style in the Guest house mess right before departure " pehachanti ho kya "
Pat came reply "Ab bata do". And had none other option than to introduce her. She said I read your blogs. Achha likhte ho. She is working in UNO and her husband is also from technical side. Lekin sabak yah tha ki ladkiyan baat karne me admi se hoshiyar hoti ha and never try to be smart before a delhite woman.
5- This time special gifts were given to family members. My daughter was given a ten rupee silver note. This was really apreciable.
6- It was like a dream to visit an NRI Tushar and listen to his American pronunciation English just like in movies " simply hould...hould....hould....houldrrrh...".
7- The RECK carry bag is most useful to me these days for carrying house hold articles in this plastic banned time. I wish next time a big and quality bag should be given to all.

अगस्त 84 एडमिशन ,रैगिंग हुई भरपूर, अभिमन्यु भवन तीर्थ था ,आस्था थी भरपूर। खिचाई तो बहाना था ,नई दोस्ती का तराना था, कुछ पहेलियों के बाद ,खोका एक ठिकाना था । भट्टू ,रंगा ,पिंटू ,निझावन ,मलिक ,राठी , सांगवान और शौकीन इतने रोज पके थे, रॉकी ,छिकारा ,राठी ,लूम्बा भी अक्सर मौजूद होतेथे । मेस में जिस दिन फ्रूट क्रीम होती थी, उस दिन हमें इनविटेशन पक्की थी। वह डोंगा भर - भर फ्रूट क्रीम मंगवाना, फिर ठूंस ठूंस के खिलाना बहुत कुछ अनजाना था, अब लगता है वह हकीकत थी या कोई फसाना था ।। उधर होस्टल 4 के वीरेश भावरा, मिश्रा, आनंद मोहन सरीखे दोस्त भी बहुमूल्य थे , इनकी राय हमारे लिए डूंगर से ऊंचे अजूबे थे। दो-तीन महीने बाद हमने अपना होश संभाला, महेश ,प्रदीप ,विनोद और कानोडिया का संग पाला । फर्स्ट सेमेस्टर में स्मिथी शॉप मे डिटेंशन आला ।। हमें वो दिन याद हैं जब नाहल, नवनीत,विशु शॉप वालों से ही जॉब करवाने मे माहिर थे , तभी से हमें लगा ये दोस्ती के बहुत काबिल थे । थर्ड सेम में आकाश दीवान की ड्राइंग खूब भायी थी, इसीलिए ला ला कर के खूब टोपो पायी थी। परीक्षा की बारी आई तो
