The last letter 1999

The contents i am going to post was scheduled by me to be posted on hindi day but due to unavoidable circumstances could not bring on 14th.
        I have received hundreds of personal letters from early primary to college education period. Those who wrote me regularly were Dr Bhatia,Dr. Bidawat,Adv. Sidh and rest were greetings on special occasions.The trend of receiving letters stopped with completion of my education & start of job in early nineties and easy availability of phone calls. But the feelings of reading a letter is alive even today.
          Then in the June 1999 , i received the last letter which was a special one because both the despatcher and receipient didn't know the address of each other but they felt always close to each other since 1985. This happened when i was posted in bikaner district at dungargarh when Mr Bishnoi ( the then my boss ) incidentally visited to his relative teacher in Adampur in haryana where the despatcher was the director of that public school and he mentioned that my acquaintant is also an electrical engineer in rajasthan and told the name and all positions became clear. So the sender wrote a precious letter in a very - very beautiful handwriting in hindi "Devnagri Lipi".I have never received such a beautiful letter neither before nor after that. The writing was without bond lining and paras were very straight on a plain school letter head. The sender sent it through Mr Bishnoi. What is today painful to me is that i have lost that letter.
                Then again a chance to meet to sender of the letter came in Dec 2014, by that time sender had written a dozen of books in hindi and one book was presented to me by him.For me it was a boon to get the specimen of the writings of my last letter in the form of best wishes affixed on the book i.e. on my gift (the specimen of writing is attached at the end of this post).
       The person writing me letter has been a prestigeous educationist, a well known writer in hindi, a stage magician in Asiad 1982,a very couragious person who drives at the age of 84 ,a man very nice by 💓. His is the only family from my engineering batchmates always close to my heart . I could make him some tiny demands but he fulfilled those happily.
   He writes satire at present , one piece of satire i reproduce here for my friends from one of his books "Suno Bhai Sadho" :-
असली खाओ ! पर जेवर नकली पहनो, जान माल की हिफाजत अपने आप हो जाएगी   घूंघट के पट खोल तोहे पीव मिलेंगे और मन सीपी में भी झांक तोहे मोती मिलेंगे (१)
तिनका तिनका जोड़कर घर तो लिया बनाय, नामकरण कुछ भी कर ले है तो सिर्फ सराय(२).
             I wish with utmost sincerity to get one such letter again, some more books to read , an early visit with him and all health ,happiness and love of writing for him.

अगस्त 84 एडमिशन ,रैगिंग हुई भरपूर, अभिमन्यु भवन तीर्थ था ,आस्था थी भरपूर। खिचाई तो बहाना था ,नई दोस्ती का तराना था, कुछ पहेलियों के बाद ,खोका एक ठिकाना था । भट्टू ,रंगा ,पिंटू ,निझावन ,मलिक ,राठी , सांगवान और शौकीन इतने रोज पके थे, रॉकी ,छिकारा ,राठी ,लूम्बा भी अक्सर मौजूद होतेथे । मेस में जिस दिन फ्रूट क्रीम होती थी, उस दिन हमें इनविटेशन पक्की थी। वह डोंगा भर - भर फ्रूट क्रीम मंगवाना, फिर ठूंस ठूंस के खिलाना बहुत कुछ अनजाना था, अब लगता है वह हकीकत थी या कोई फसाना था ।। उधर होस्टल 4 के वीरेश भावरा, मिश्रा, आनंद मोहन सरीखे दोस्त भी बहुमूल्य थे , इनकी राय हमारे लिए डूंगर से ऊंचे अजूबे थे। दो-तीन महीने बाद हमने अपना होश संभाला, महेश ,प्रदीप ,विनोद और कानोडिया का संग पाला । फर्स्ट सेमेस्टर में स्मिथी शॉप मे डिटेंशन आला ।। हमें वो दिन याद हैं जब नाहल, नवनीत,विशु शॉप वालों से ही जॉब करवाने मे माहिर थे , तभी से हमें लगा ये दोस्ती के बहुत काबिल थे । थर्ड सेम में आकाश दीवान की ड्राइंग खूब भायी थी, इसीलिए ला ला कर के खूब टोपो पायी थी। परीक्षा की बारी आई तो

श्री भीम नाथ सिद्ध एक कलम और बात के ही‌ धनी नहीं थे बल्कि एक संस्था थे ।आपका जन्म ग्राम बादड़िया तहसील सरदारशहर में हुआ। आपकी स्नातक तक की शिक्षा सरदारशहर कस्बे में ही हुई। उसके बाद आपने एलएलबी श्री डूंगर महाविद्यालय बीकानेर से प्रथम श्रेणी में उत्तीर्ण की। एलएलबी के बाद आपने चूरू जिला मुख्यालय पर 1972 में वकाल के पेशे को अपनाया और लगभग 49 वर्ष इस पेशे में रहे और 2020 से लगातार बार एसोसिएशन सरदारशहर के अध्यक्ष पद पर आसीन थे।वकालत को‌‌ आपने सिर्फ पेशा ही नहीं सामाजिक दायित्व के तौर पर‌‌ लिया और हर समाज ,हर वर्ग के कार्य को पूरी निष्ठा से किया और जन-जन के हृदय में जगह बनाई। आप एक बहुआयामी व्यक्तित्व के धनी थे, जो वकालत के साथ-साथ राजनीति में भी प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से हमेशा सक्रिय रहे। आप 1985 से 1990 तक मालसर ग्राम पंचायत के सरपंच और पंचायत समिति सरदारशहर के उपप्रधान रहे और इसके माध्यम से जन सामान्य की हर संभव मदद की।आप क्षेत्र के बड़े राजनीतिज्ञों के हमेशा से विश्वास पात्रों में रहे। चाहे वह पूर्व विधायक श्री हजारीमल जी सारण( जो उनके राजनीतिक गुरु भी थे) हों, या फ

2nd Death Anniversary :Humble Smarananjali

This day is most difficult for me to face because I have lost everything in a sudden which I piled up in previous 25 years . But any way every person has his/her destiny in its own way and every person who comes, brings a return ticket with him/her. What is precious is the way we spend the time in this world. To some we don't see worth in their life time but others are fondly remembered even after their eternal journey and their ideals continue to guide for long long years. Your straight forward ,simple and pious character was an epitome of grace and your family devotion is an inspiration for carrying on the life journey for us. You are always with us.
